I recently cleaned out the house of a friend's father of whom passed away recently. We were preparing it for listing. It took a lot of work hauling 50 years' worth of collections out.
Let me tell you. He was definitely a collector. Each to their own, I suppose.
He collected those strange elves you see. Kind of like "Elf on a Shelf"? They're similar. Anyway, I believe Brian Hayes, my good friend, said his father had some 500 different elves in the collection.
Brian was not interested in inheriting them.
In fact, Brian is not sentimental at all. He had no desire to retrieve the family photos from their long-standing homes in wooden frames. He was eager to toss anything that was not nailed down; even then, we still removed shit that was nailed down.
Things hold different values to different people.
SHIB could be classified as a shit coin crypto but the final say revolves around supply and demand. Increase demand? That will drive prices up; production can only keep up with so much.
Crypto is not really "produced". It's mined. But even then, I am uninformed on that topic. I do not know much about mining.
As long as there is support around a particular asset, whether that be a trading card, or a shit coin, there is inherent value in the quantity. Scarcity will drive prices.
Think about this...who drives the value of the U.S dollar?
Who controls your value and applies a "wage" according to your time?
I want you to break free.
Perception of value
An 'assent' can be worthless, until you make it applicable.
How can you create structure around a concept?
A concept, idea, thought, entity, moral, value, essence cannot exist without the opposite. Good vs. evil.
What is neutral?
What is the scale is there is no set of extreme values??
